Hey guys, i was talking to a buddy who works at a cat dealer.I found a caterpillar c15 twin turbo that will never breakdown or blow a turbo.I hav jus finished a conversion frm a twin turbo to single turbo it had a 625 hp 2050 torque program and i took a turbo, mainifold and oil lines from an older 1wl cat engine and put it on.I used a platinum overhaul kit.
I've spent most of my career working on cat engines.If i do the conversion i was planning on using the acert 625 injectors modified by far call, 70 pin ecm (haney tune), 1000hp marine cam, industrial cylinder pack's and keeping the twin turbo set up.If the metallic plate is missing, the engine serial number is stamped on the passenger side of the cylinder block, just.If this engine has full maintenance records and is in good shape i would recommend getting it.
